The North Area Partnership Options
The Diploma A challenging, vocational course designed to prepare students for a career in a specific area of work • Construction and the Built Environment • Hair and Beauty Studies • Engineering
The Diploma Combines subject learning (one day per week at another centre) with English, ICT, Mathematics and another subject (all at RGS) Have to pass all the components to achieve the Diploma Worth 7 – 7. 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C
BTEC Diploma Whole day courses; the equivalent of four GCSEs A*-C. They will take place all day on a Tuesday during two Option sessions. BTEC Certificate Half day courses; the equivalent of two GCSE A*-C. They will take place during Option sessions.
