I live in Greenland is a country right at the top of planet Earth I live in Greenland is a country right at the top of planet Earth in the Arctic. This photo was taken just at the end of our summer. It is already starting to become very cold and you can even see pieces of floating ice in the sea. Soon there will be ice and snow everywhere. The temperatures will be well below zero. In winter, the sun will shine for only two or three hours a day. Soon we will not be able to ride our bikes. We will have to move about on skis and with husky sleds. Back 5

When you live in a place like Texas you know very well that tornadoes can be dangerous. Homes are built with strong roofs and foundations. Many people also have underground shelters that they go to when a tornado is near. Many areas have neighbourhood tornado sirens that warn people. Back 6

A lot of people in Kenya have to grow their own food instead of buying it in shops. So it is important for children in my village to learn how to grow food. Back 7
