FEEDBACK FROM THE PARTICIPANTS POSITIVE NEGATIVE + + - Idea Music Backup Plan Atmosphere Informing Delay “I really liked the event. Feels great to be part of something bigger. You managed to bring people around for just one hug, well of course for the world record but I think people needed the hug more. Peace!” 11 February 2018 W o r l d R e c o r d 10
WHAT COULD WE HAVE DONE BETTER? • Think ways to activate people • How to get more participants? • Used the time (11: 30 -12: 30) more efficiently • Or even held the event at different time of the day • Problem: What time would have actually been better? • Used info-TV as a part of marketing 11 February 2018 W o r l d R e c o r d 11
IN WHAT WERE WE SUCCESSFUL? • We are currently holders of a world record! • Working successfully as a team • Marketing: networking, using official channels (KUAS, KAMO) • Time management was well-planned • Project details i. e. verifying fire safety regulations and legislation (usage of pictures and Spotify) • Having a backup plan • Gathering feedback 11 February 2018 W o r l d R e c o r d 12
ASSESSMENT • A successful project needs a leader • Active team members • Motivation and open mind are required • Prepare properly; importance of the planning • Written documents must be done during the project • Be aware that there might be spontaneous increase in budget (entrance tickets; low cost) 11 February 2018 W o r l d R e c o r d 13
APPLICATION OF THE PROJECT AND OPPORTUNITIES TO CONTINUE • World Record video could be used for promoting Kajaani University of Applied Sciences • Team is willing to discuss further cooperation with KUAS • Possibility for another project • Trying to brake the original record of Largest Indoor Group Hug involving 118 participants • Or a whole another world record? 11 February 2018 W o r l d R e c o r d 14
