World Heritage national Ukrainian IC GCDP project

World Heritage – national Ukrainian IC GCDP project, which AIESEC organize together with Charitable Foundation “Talented Children are Future of Ukraine” based on UNESCO initiative, aimed to inform young people about the unique value of cultural monuments and nature; and to encourage future leaders to participate actively in the protection, preservation and promotion of World Heritage. Realization – 1 st October – 25 th November 2012 International science forum and the festival of cultures – 15 th – 17 th October, Kyiv

JD 1: The main task for interns is to organize research together with Ukrainian students and to study World Heritage in the city they will have internship; as outcome – to present results of research at the national 3 days science forum in Kyiv. JD 2: Present cultural and historical heritage of the intern’s country and provide information about possible tips for protection and preservation of world heritage elements in Ukraine in a way of presentations, learning circles, workshops and discussions. JD 3: Provide comparison analysis of situation with protection of cultural and nature heritage in Ukraine and intern’s home country, global point of view on existing problems, good case practices from intern’s home country.

JD 4: In teams with Ukrainian students create printed materials with outcomes from research which should contain information about cultural and historical objects of the city of internship, history of that objects, possible ways and tips for their protection. JD 5: Take part in the international science forum and international festival of cultures in Kyiv (15 th -17 th of November), present outcome from world heritage research in Ukraine, take part in discussions about world heritage preservation and protection and the role of young people and volunteers in it; show foreign country through presenting national traditions, food, history, clothes in the festival of cultures in order to show the variety of world's cultures and to share the idea of cultural, religious tolerance.
