• Sydney Opera House is one of the most outstanding architectural structures of the 20 th century. It was opened in 1973. The city's sculptural structure, built on the cape of the peninsula in the Sydney Bay, fits perfectly into the landscape of the ocean coast and has for many years exerted a great influence on modern architecture.

• On the spot where now there is the Sydney Opera House, until 1958 there was a simple tram depot. In 1959 the construction of the Opera began. Sydney Opera serves as a monument to its author and creator, annually it attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world. It is worth noting that the building is listed in the Guinness Book of Records.

The Sydney Opera has five main halls in which there are symphony concerts, theatrical and cameral performances, as well as the opera and small drama stages, theater studio, the drama theater, the simulated stage and the Utzon Room. The theater complex, in addition, contains other halls for various events, a recording studio, four souvenir shops and five restaurants.
