The types of ice-skating 1)Ice Dancing is really ballroom dancing on the ice. Skaters can skate waltzes, tangos, foxtrots, and other dances. Ice dancing can be done with or without a partner. 2) Synchronized ['sɪŋkrənaɪz] Skating Synchronized Skating is done with a team of twelve to twenty skaters. The team performs a routine in unison to music and skates together in various patterns.

Styles of skiing 1. Carving(form-fitting) - a style that is performed on the special slops. 2. Ski-tour - a calm style in which the skier goes up independently, using ski-equipped devices. 3. Ski Cross is running on the track, which has turns and swings and is equipped with ski-jump. 4. Freeride skier requires great skill and involves riding on wide skis. 5. Extreme - a kind of free ride, which has a high level of complexity and takes on difficult slopes, sometimes covered with forests, including jumping from the cliffs.
Freestyle skiing Freestyle - pretty young style, which enjoys great popularity. It involves jumping and moving forward, tricks. This is the original game free flight.

Beginners can do this type of style because all you need to do is ride down or up a mountain and explore everything there is out there. Freestyle primarily involves a variety of tricks and jumps in specially constructed terrain parks, rails and halfpipes. Jibbing. Jib is both a noun and a verb, depending on the usage of the word. As a noun: a jib includes metal rails, boxes, benches, concrete ledges, walls, vehicles, rocks and logs.
