Guidelines on Hilltop’s policy on water (suggested answer) Hilltop’s policy is to conserve water at all times without spoiling the experience and enjoyment of our hotel guests. Water is a precious resource and our efficient management of this resource is an essential part of what we do and of our ongoing success. This is a special challenge for the leisure industry where our guests’ comfort is paramount but, in partnership with our hotel guests, we must ensure we do not waste water in any part of our operations: washing, cleaning, bathing, swimming. We must be especially vigilant during the winter months in the Caribbean when rainfall can be low and our water supplies run low. Our long-term objective is for our hotels’ use of water to be selfsustainable.
