New Laws & Regulations • Federal Supply Schedules Usage Act of 2010 -- allows disaster relief agencies, state and local governments, and qualified nonprofit disaster relief organizations to buy goods and services through the GSA Multiple Award Schedule Program. (Passed on 09/28/10 but not yet been signed by the President. ) • New FAR regulations related to the awarding of sole-source contracts to service-disabled veteran-owned small business. July 2010 • New FAR contract requirement that federal contractors and certain subcontractors report executive compensation of senior management on a public website. July 2010 • New DOL requirement that federal contractors and all subcontractors advise their employees that they have a right to form and join a union.
