What's involved? - Overview • Register team of four • Produce a report based on a real life case study • Top four highest scoring reports compete in UK final by delivering a 20 minute presentation and submitting a video • UK winners then compete at the global final • All expenses paid trip abroad, final destination: India

Eligibility and team rules • The competition is open to full time students who are undergraduates, doing their first degree, at the point of registration. • Each team must have four members (all full time undergraduates as stated above) • There can be up to two members per team who are currently also studying or holding a professional qualification, or up to four members who are studying CIMA at certificate or operational level. • No postgraduates or MBA holders will be eligible to participate • All members of a team must belong to the same university • Each student may join only one team • Mentors or supervisors are not mandatory to form a team • There must be a team leader in each team • CIMA's decision is final should there be any discrepancy.
How it works The GBC 2014 competition is run in three stages. • Stage one – case study analysis • Stage two – synopsis and presentation (UK final) • Stage three – presentation (global final)
