Eusebi Guell became a financial angel-protector for Gaudi, his associate and friend.

Riverdance is a theatrical show of traditional Irish step Riverdance dancing, known for its fast leg movements while body and arms are kept nearly immovable.
It originated as an interval performance during the Eurovision Song Contest. Riverdance first performed at the Point Theatre, Dublin on 30 April 1994.
In 1995 the Riverdance video remained in the charts and became the all time highest selling music video in the UK. It features and popularizes the Irish culture worldwide.
Michael Ryan Flatley, the artistic director and founder of Riverdance Dancing Show is Irish American. Flatley was the first American to win the World Irish Dance Championships and numerous All-Ireland Flute Championships.
Flatley created and choreographed the original Riverdance and led the show to great success.
In February 1998 Flatley broke his own record in tap-dance performing 35 taps per second.
RUDYARD KIPLING
Bombay, India, is the land where Rudyard Kipling was born in 1865 and began to write his books. His father was a teacher at a Bombay school of art. Indian servants took care of Rudyard and taught him the Hindi language of India. His respect for this country remained with him throughout his life and colored much of his writing.
At six, young Kipling was taken to England educated at English College in North Devon.
Limited family finances prevented Kipling from going to a University. He returned to India instead and became involved in journalism He wrote articles based on his travels in Northern India. Many were later collected in the book “From sea to sea”.
Between 1887 and 1899 Kipling traveled around the world. He visited China, Japan and lived for a few years in America where he married an American Caroline Starr Balistier
Kipling ‘s works “The Jungle Book”, “Kim”, and “Just So Stories” at once gained wide popularity with the public.
His private life was unhappy. He lost his daughter and after his son’s death in World War I he almost stopped writing. In 1936 Kipling was at work on a collection of autobiographical notes, when he died on January 17, a few weeks after his seventieth birthday.
A talented storyteller, Kipling was one of those rare writers who were successful both in prose and poetry. In 1907 he became the first British writer to win the Nobel Prize in literature.
