Star's new process does avoid direct contact with Cr 6+-compounds during transportation, storage and application of mordant dyes. è A higher degree of legal certainty in relation to the longer inspection interval according to EU regulations is possible è Specially equipped storage places for highly hazardous substances are avoided è The long term survival of a well proven dyestuff range like Diamond is possible è The mordant dyes reach the same human-toxicological level as metal complex dyes A process patent for the new application method has been filed.
