What is the Children in Need Charity all about? Why do we support it? • The Children in Need charity improves the lives of children and their families across the United Kingdom like: Institute for Brain injured children There are 23, 500 children in the UK who live with a health condition for which there is no cure. Receiving medical care to help manage these conditions can be scary and frightening for young children and their families. There is support provided for children whose parents are ill and can not be cured. The project helps the children come to terms with the death of their parent. Over 1. 6 million children in the united kingdom live in poverty. That means their families do not have enough money to buy things like clothes, food, beds and bedding. £ 30. 00 provides enough money to buy a bed and bed covers to keep a child warm at night.

How will we raise money? • We will have a sponsored danceathon • We can pay a £ 1. 00 and dress up in spots for the day • We will have a spotty juice and biscuit bar • We will have a Guess the number of spots on Pudsey competition

What we would like you to do. • Take home the sponsorship forms and get your friends and family to sponsor our non- stop ‘Dance through the Day’ event. • Dress up in spots on the day bring a £ 1. 00 • Bring in money to spend at our spotty juice and Biscuit bar- 50 p’s and £ 1. 00’s • Bring in 50 p to guess the number of spots on Pudsey…. 1/2 the proceeds to Children in Need, 1/2 to the winner.
