Fall 2014 – For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology
Students will be involved in: • Designing, building, testing and programing robots using LEGO MINDSTORMS® technology • Applying real-world math and science concepts • Researching challenges facing today’s scientists critical thinking, team-building and presentation skills
Hold the date… All 5 th grade Target students will participate in the Kemp Robotics Expo on October 31 st at 8: 30 am in the cafeteria. Students will be sharing their research & innovative solutions, their mission solving abilities & robotic skills and their team enthusiasm & gracious professionalism.
The competition team is selected from interested student applicants that have demonstrated motivation, commitment and core values throughout the unit.
