Adilabad 25. 87% has highest percentage followed by Mahbubnagar with 19. 37% and the least is Hyderabad with 0. 90% 51. 54% of Telangana urban population are connected to Piped Sewerage networks(Under Ground Drainage) Inadequate Community and Public toilets Most of them have septic tanks and soak pits . Only 2 cities have existing Underground Drainage facility. UGD facility 4 towns are under implementation No septage or fecal sludge management facilities exist

Progress Swacch Telangana week observed from 25 th Sept – 2 nd Oct 2014 Progress Swacch Telangana week observed from 25 th Sept – 2 nd Oct 2014 Financial Proposal for Rs. 954. 53 Cr submitted to Govt of India State Level Sanitation Committee for finalization of the State Sanitation Strategy prepared in coordination with the German International Cooperation - GIZ High Power Committee constituted and meeting was held to discuss on the state share State Mission Directorate – Commissioner &Director of Municipal Administration is nominated as State Mission Director Eo. I called for preparation of DPRs and establishment of Project Monitoring Unit at Mission Directorate. State share for individual toilets ( Rs 8000/-) has been proposed – Government Approval awaited GHMC has constructed 52 Public Toilets across the city after 2 nd Oct, 2014 Creation of State Sanitation Fund is under consideration 13
