Zboriv is a historichal town. Many years ago, in 1649, here was a Zboriv′s battle, the event which glorified our little and quiet town. The army led by Bohdan Khmelnytsky defeated Polish army and the Zboriv agreement was signed. And now we all remember about this event, the museum of Zboriv′s Battle was founded and there are two monuments of Bohdan Khmelnytsky.

• Zboriv is a small town. It′s located in Ternopil oblast. The area of town is 6 square km. • The population of our town is about 8, 000 people. • Zboriv is so comfortable for citizens and it is so beautiful.

The main street of Zboriv is Bohdan Khmelnytskyi street where our gymnasium is located. Along the street a lot of chestnuts are planted. In the spring when chestnut trees blossom, the street is very exciting.

Zboriv is a scientific and culture center in our region. There are two schools, a gymnasium and a collage.

• There′re two libraries but unfortunately, they are not so popular among__ teens • Also we have a house of culture where there are many concerts and competitions.

There is no public transport around thetown, so all people must walk on their fееt (or cars of course) but on the one hand it′s good because we all do sports. What about sport, there is a small stadium where a lot of sport competitions of football or other games are held And sometimes there can be sports games where the whole region comes. In this stadium every morning you can see some people who are running or doing different sport exercises. And in the Town Day of Zboriv many music groups can have concerts here.

The places for chilling. There is a beautiful lake at the entrance to the town where you can see a lot of teens who are walking there and many fishermen who are sitting from the early morning to late evening there.

And also you can have a rest in our park which is so fine in autumn. There also many concerts which are held here and if you like the swings, there are some there : D

There are many small shops and one supermarket in our town. Also we have got one department store, where you can buy different things and clothes. Moreover every Wednesday we have a street market , where many people buy and sell a lot of things.

Where to have a dinner. To be honest, our citizens like homemade food and they prefer eating in their homes. But of course there a few restaurants. /Фото теко/ The cheapest shop in our town is this supermarket BUT don’t go there in Wednesday, if you want to survive.

And if you like pizza it′s the place where you can eat this in Zboriv. Restaurant «De Luxe» . The restaurant «Strypa» (near our gymnasium).

If you think there are no hospitals here, you are wrong. There are one hospital, two clinics and of course three pharmacies.

There also a few banks and cash machines where you can withdraw money.
