Parent Communications 1. Parent Connect: Please check often. This is updated regularly and will keep you up to speed regarding assignments. 2. Intouch: I send messages bi-weekly to update you on student progress, and/or important dates to remember. 3. Website: I update our class website regularly. Student Assignments • When absent, students know where to locate their work. They have the number of days they were absent to make up the assignments. • 3 missing assignments will result in a detention • Assignments will only be accepted up to one week past the due date for ½ credit.
Open Cooking • There will be 2 or 3 open cooking labs later in the trimester where students will volunteer to bring an ingredient from home to share with their group. Unless there is a letter explaining why they could not participate, they will be excluded from those labs.
Exit Slip • Please take a sticky note and answer the following question: What do you believe is most important for me to know about your child to help him or her succeed? Thank you so much for your time and dedication to your child’s learning!
