Homework I assign about 1 hour of homework Monday through Thursday. This includes 20 to 30 minutes of reading EVERY DAY. The Corona-Norco School District’s policy on homework suggests that a time allotment up to 1 hour a night be given to sixth grade students. This is an hour for the “Average” student. This does not include time for breaks, so expect to spend a longer amount of time if your child gets off task or is constantly taking breaks. Your child’s homework is due first thing in the morning.
