Technology use at home Students need access to a computer at home (if possible). They will be given work that will use technology for homework. If your child doesn’t have access to technology, please see me and I can arrange to have your child stay after school or during recess/lunch to work on classroom computers. I recommend the following tools for home: • Internet access • Printer • Encyclopedia software like Encarta • Word processing program like Microsoft Word

Classroom Organization · Color coded folders · Each color represents a subject in the fourth grade curriculum. All handouts for a particular subject will correspond with the color of that folder. · For example: All handouts for math will be printed on pink paper. Students are expected to store all math handouts in their blue math folder. · Blue folder: Language Arts, handouts will be blue · Red folder: Math, handouts will be pink. · Yellow Folder: Social Studies, handouts will be gold. · Green Folder: Science, handouts will be green. · Purple Folder: Writing, handouts will be lavender.
