• This is not the Skills class from last year. • There is no homework for this class. • Student Checklist: * Students must complete within class period * Must complete in order to participate in Friday Reward Activities. * Classes are 1 Period only (44 minutes) • One day/wk they will be in a Guided Reading Group. • Aimsweb and F&P testing

With the exception of Guided Reading groups, inclass activities will change on a weekly basis: v Vocabulary/Word Study v Reading Skills Practice (Inference, Main Idea/Details, Sequencing, Cause/Effect, Fact/Opinion, etc. ) v Independent Reading Skills (Characterization, Plot, Summarizing, etc. ) v Writing Skills Practice (Show/Don’t Tell, Grammar, Word choice, Sentence variety, etc. )
