Things you need to take with you 1. HKID, School ID 2. Passport 3. E tickets, Travel Insurance 4. NZD 150 -200 for a 10 NZD phone card 5. Warm clothing- It will be around 8 -12 degrees. Jacket, sweaters, inners, mufflers, cap, gloves (if you feel really cold) 6. Sunscreen lotion. Toothpaste, toothbrush, soap (toiletries) 7. Camera, video, charger, cellphones 8. Snacks 9. Medicines for headache, fever, cold etc. (not in hand carry) 10. Umbrella/windcheater/raincoat 11. A gift for homestay parents for 20/30 HKD.
Please! Do not carry 1. Any cooked food, meat, fish or poultry items, fruits and plants. 2. Any liquid like face cream, drinks etc in hand carry. 3. Any sharp object like scissors, pins, knife etc. 4. Drugs in any form 5. Too much luggage…. (20 kg). Travel light!!!! One suitcase and one handbag are enough.
Where to meet and when We will meet at the AIRPORT Terminal 1, Aisle G At 3 pm sharp
Rules and regulations 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Go straight to the homestays, once the activities are over. Stay together as a group during and after the activities for safety reasons. Be with the homestay parents and enjoy the cultural exchange, after dinner. Tell them about HK and ask lots of questions about NZ. If you want to visit any place, ask your homestay to take you there. If you want any thing specific, ask your homestay mum/dad. Be punctual for classes and activities.
