Review of the Extended Day POW Process • The FY 11 Annual Report will be available on the teacher’s menu March 15 th. • Teachers already on extended day must complete the FY 11 Annual Report to activate the FY 12 POW. • Teachers not accumulating the points to meet each standard will be required to complete an Improvement Plan which must then be approved by the CTAE Director to activate the FY 12 POW. 3/18/2018 Dr. John D. Extended Day POW Updates FY 12 Change in the Affiliation Standard: • The teacher must have an affiliated chapter to qualify for extended day. Certification Issues: Culinary Endorsement • NW RESA is now an approved provider. • Approval for additional providers is in progress. • Teachers who have already taken “previous coursework” will be allowed to complete the process through a Ga. Certification Issues: WBL Endorsement • NW RESA is now an approved provider. • Requiring the WBL endorsement for use of the State approved course numbers is no longer being pursued by Ga.
