Webquest How will you spend the Earth Hour?

Introduction Hundreds of millions of people, businesses and governments around the world unite each year to support the largest environmental event in history – Earth Hour. More than 5, 200 cities and towns in 135 countries worldwide switched off their lights for Earth Hour 2011 alone, sending a powerful message for action on climate change. In this webquest you will find more information about the Earth Hour and what to do.

History • You might have a question what is this event about and how it began. In this page you will find the information about its history. There you will find the information about the climate change and why do we need to get involved in such events. You can also watch this video to get close to the point.

When? • So now you know about the Earth Hour, and you want to join it. First information you need to know it when the Earth Hour will be held. On the main page of the Earth Hour you’ll find the timer that counts down to this event.
