Regional Content Expansion • In 2006 we began a rigorous review of regional scholarship to identify key titles and subjects important to the global research community • All journals added to Wo. S still go through a rigorous selection process. • Total coverage of scholarly journals in Web of Science has grown from 8, 600 in 2004 to over 11, 000 publications today. • Fifteen hundred (1, 500) of these are newly selected regional journals. • The list of countries whose publications are represented in Wo. S has grown by 14 during this period. • Journal coverage now better reflects trends in scholarly research at both the international and regional levels. 35
