The beginning of the war On 22 June 1941 Nazi Germany attacked our country. They bombed our cities and killed civilians. But Russian people raised to defend their homeland.

The defenders of the Motherland! Against the Germans fought very ordinary people who used to work as teachers, miners, drivers, etc. They defended their homeland, mothers, wives, children.

Wounded soldiers Many soldiers received multiple injuries during the battles. The nurses carried the wounded soldiers from the battlefields. Those who had minor injuries were given the first medical aid, and those who were seriously injured were brought to hospital by special cars and trains.

The end of war May 9, 1945 the Great Patriotic War ended. During this war more than 27 million Soviet people were killed. The heroic feat of our soldiers will never be forgotten.
