I received the following note from RD (I've taken the liberty of doing some minor editing): First view: Begin with the gate of the Outer Court, proceeding through, from the Brazen Alter unto the Ark of the Covenant, in the Holiest of All This would be Man's approach unto God, the walk of faith. As man comes to God, he must begin at the Gate, accept the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. From there on he progresses step by step, line upon line, until he comes to the ultimate - the full Glory of God as seen in the most Holy Place. Second view: Follow the general order of revelation, and begin where God began, that is, with the Ark of the Covenant, and then proceed on out to the Brazen Altar and Court Gate. This would be approaching the truth from God unto Man, that is, the path of grace. Unless God first comes with His grace to man, man will in no wise be able to stand in the Presence of the Holy God.
