Changes to services in Watford & Three Rivers Adult Community Mental Heath Services Review: • Pilot in the SW was successful • needs led’ rather than ‘service led’ § 3 team model to be rolled out on a quadrant by quadrant basis from 2 Dec. Colne House § New community hub based in Upton Road in Watford § Learning Disabilities; Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team (CATT); Older Adults; Adult Mental Health (Teams 1 & 3) Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) • Significantly improve the safety and quality of service delivery • Increase capacity of Adolescent Outreach Teams • Launch a new clinical model of Community CAMHS

Changes to services in Watford and Three Rivers • • • Kingsley Green Based on best practice on inpatient care Phase 1 will open mid-May 2014 (Essex Ward, S 136) Phase 2 will open in August 2014 (Welwyn, Mymms and ECT suite People in Later Life Provision of beds for SUs with highest level of needs Less intensive needs – increased choice for SUs Commencement of Intensive Outreach Service (IOS) Rapid Assessment, Interface and Discharge (RAID) Launched in April 2013 to prevent admissions and re-admissions Benefiting service users and system
