Safe water is considered a fundamental human right essential for a healthy populace and environment. In America, there are many different problems related to water resources. And I am going to tell about them.
In many rivers, lakes and the coast of the United States has become dangerous to swim because there appeared poisonous silt and algae. The authorities of the state of Wisconsin and Kentucky have been forced to close many beaches. And in Florida from poisonous plants are dying dolphins, manatees, birds and fish.
In the city Alamogordo (New Mexico) was a terrible disease - mercury poisoning. The scientists tested the chemical composition of the water and were shocked. Millions of square miles of the most beautiful American rivers and lakes contaminated with dangerous and almost impossible to destroy the element - mercury.
In California, on the shores of one of the lakes, tourists have suffered from gnats. Local authorities, applying the technique, sprayed the entire area with pesticides. As a result, gnats disappeared. But apart from gnats disappeared fish and birds too.
Previously, The Colorado River gave life to the valley of Mexicali (Mexico). Now this river brings into the territory of Mexico a huge amount of salt, which kill the fertility of these lands.
Today, thousands of poisonous substances, organic and inorganic enter the house of every American through the water supply system. So, in the US bottles of spring water are sold in every grocery store.
