Currently there approximately 194 technicalvocational institutions and there are plans to increase this number during the next five year plan. Total enrolment to date is over 100, 000.

 Vocational-Technical education in Malaysia encompasses post secondary education provided by Polytechnics, Community Colleges Vocational-Technical education in Malaysia encompasses post secondary education provided by Polytechnics, Community Colleges and Skill Training Institutes. Both Polytechnics and Community Colleges are under the supervision of Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Malaysia.
