Project Summary n Dr. Rob’s is a vendor who rents shelf space from area grocers in the Houston area. The salsa is supplied and inventoried by Dr. Rob employees. An inefficient manual process is currently used for inventory ordering and counting. This process is time consuming and inefficient. Currently a company representative visits each store location and physically counts the inventory, and then records it on paper. The order is called in to the home office to be placed. At the home office once an order is placed, it is manually recorded. This completely manual process needs to be improved. The solution is to develop an automated system that will allow for electronic ordering, tracking, and invoicing.
