Why? l Why do these companies have their own damage databases? – Their database preceded DIRT – Not yet providing data to CGA DIRT (legal reasons, for instance) – Like to keep all data in-house – Collect MORE data than the CGA DIRT standard fields. 4

Solution: Virtual Private DIRT l Starts out as a secure, isolated copy of the DIRT application – Dedicated URL path (https: //damagereporting. org/nnnnn) – Dedicated database space – Isolated identity management (users) – Separate configuration l Customize look & feel – Logo image – Application/organization name – Style, colors, layout to match your org. – Emails to/from your org. 6
