Performance against V-Lab requirements Nominate a focal and alternate point of contact for Virtual Laboratory (VLab) business. Run international training events that conform with the VLab guides for organising and running training events Develop and run regular RFG weather discussions Maintain an up to date list of priority training needs for that region Develop and maintain proficiency in providing & using online training tools Maintain regular contact with the other members of the VLab Management Group: Provide the Co-Chairs (or designated people) a brief annual report Share training resources
Future Plans Strategic: • Stronger linkages to workforce planning to support learning & development: Job families / Capability Frameworks / Rolefocused training & assessment • Developing resources and tools that support a continuous learning culture for a geographically distributed work-force. • Re-developing training resources so that they are available to a wider community of users. • Developing trainer capability: “SME to Polymath” • Collaborations: Building a wider RFG community (Asia. Pacific – Southern Hemisphere)
