NASWA periodically solicits states for member enrollment to the IB-1 Business Continuity (BC) effort. q n Letter drafted for distribution reminding State Administrators and UI Directors that the IB-1 BC is available and voluntary with an opt in/out for each situation. A list of the state points of contact with login access to update the IB-1 BC application will be sent to participating state IPCs/FPCs for account verification quarterly. The second release of enhancements April 2015. § § § § § Simplified way to find unviewed requests. My Work Items! Increases # of determination dates & overpayment determination attachments to 5. Requires an overpayment determination document be attached to all recovery requests. Adds a “send comments” button next to “update OP balance” button. Enables search of Interstate OP report for a specific state or SSN. Also new SSNs - not on previous reports. Ability to search and sort requests by determination date. Ability to search and sort requests by creator last name. Addition of rejected & processed statuses. View any state payment profile information. 44 States sent in June 2015 Claim/Overpayment File § IRORA: 49 states, PR, VI and DC have signed. IB 8606 Web Application Operations n n q q n n 5 states have IB 8606 Web Application Operations n n q q n n 5 states have not completed payment information – CA, ME, WA, VA, LA CA, ME, WA & LA do not provide SCO data & are not sending requests via the IB 8606 website. CA & LA are not processing received requests WA & VA are processing received requests ME has not signed IRORA and isn’t required to process requests. My Work Items counts: n n CA has 121 unprocessed recovery requests dating back to 7/3/2014. LA has 19 unprocessed recovery requests dating back to 7/21/2014. VA has 370 received recovery requests dating back to 7/1/2014. Cannot determine if these are unprocessed. However, VA staff are processing (26), rejecting (12) & completing (161) recovery requests. Reminder: The IRORA agreement does not require states to use the IB 8606 website or any other process, but it does mandate states respond to recovery requests however they are received – via hard copy or the website. If an electronic IB 8606 is received and states do not wish to use the website, states still need to print a copy and process it as if they received a hard copy. IB 14 Web Application § IB Subcommittee approved the IB 14 Workgroup at 7/16/2013 IB 14 Web Application § IB Subcommittee approved the IB 14 Workgroup at 7/16/2013 meeting. § Work group comprised of 27 staff members from AL, CO, GA, KY, MT, NE, OR, PR & WI. § Work group completed their effort to identify requirements in November 2014. § Draft web page mockups were also created. § New functionality requested: § § Optional 500 -character comment field to enhance dialog between Paying and Transferring States. Status of a received request can be updated by Transferring State staff to indicate processing and completed. Status of request will be displayed to Paying State. CWC 02 -12 Web Application n n ALL STATES must use the CWC 02 CWC 02 -12 Web Application n n ALL STATES must use the CWC 02 -12 website to notify a Transferring State (that does chargeback employers) when one of their employers has been determined to be non-compliant and has caused an overpayment on a CWC claim. Each State must complete their State Profile in order for another State to know if they chargeback employers or not. Two states have NOT completed their CWC 02 -12 State Profile: OK, VI States that do NOT chargeback CWC employers will NOT receive incoming notices but may still need to use the website to notify a Transferring State that one of their employers has been determined to be noncompliant and has caused an overpayment on a combined wage claim.
