Number and letter games These games are mainly designed for beginners and elementary leaners. They refer to whole class activities and do not require any special organization of classroom.

Name the word • You need 20 cards with pictures of different objects. The pupils are divided into 2 teams. The players taking turns come to the table where the cards face down are placed, take 1 card and name the word. A team gets a point for each correct word. Let’s play this game!

Count again • You give your class one digit. The class counts from that number in chorus. After a few numbers you clap your hands and the class stops. You call a new number and the class starts counting from that point.

Count the objects To play this game the teacher puts a picture of a room. The task is to count all the chairs, shelves, books…, first, separately and then name the total number of objects. The winner is a person who has counted more objects.
