Participate with any licensed amateur operator or club (BARA http: //www. wtns. binghamton. edu/bara/, SVARA) and make at least one contact on HF bands, using: Voice, CW, SSTV, ATV, OSCAR, PSK-31, RTTY, EME. (Not necessarily summer camp, may be a unit 50 miler, NYLT, etc. ) § During each of the other 11 months, complete a one night campout (long enough to cook 3 meals, or longer); using approved improvised shelter or under canvas. § Proper practices must be followed. § Campsites must be left in proper condition. § Demonstrate ability to SM/advisor to “take care of himself/herself in the open”. Present to youth group (minimum 8 participants) a presentation of the 7 components of fitness: diet, exercise benefits, recommendations for Scout age individuals, healthy lifestyles. 3. Review Athletics MB and other physical activity/personal fitnesss MBs. Explain steps taken to follow guidelines for your fitness goals. National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) § Immediately after the BOR, the membership application should be downloaded from http: //www. nesa. org/ for inclusion with the Eagle Award Presentation Kit. § Some troops automatically pay the $25 for the first 5 year’s dues and present the membership certificate at the COH instead of the application. § The presentation should be made by another NESA member.
