Introduction • TTA (Telecommunication Technology Association) • Domestic Standardization Activities – Industrial ICT standard establishment – Coordination between industrial requirement and government policies – Proposal of National Standard (KICS) • Global Standardization Activities – 3 GPP/3 GPP 2 Organizational Members – Activities on IEEE, ITU(R/T/D), AWG, WRC, and so on – CJK(China-Japan-Korea) standardization cooperation 3

3. Transposition Schedule • Tentative Plan – In order to meet ITU-R schedule, it is necessary to freeze TTA draft standard by mid of May. 4. Other Issues on Transposition • Confirmation of 802. 16 m Draft version to adopt – Is D 12 the final version? – What if it is disapproved by the Rev. Com? • What is the future plan of IEEE in this case? • Official standard publish for IEEE 802. 16 m – According to Mo. U between TTA and IEEE-SA, the official standard number & standard document is necessary to adopt IEEE standard. • Next WATO meeting – Needs to be held before Wireless. MAN-Advanced is revised. 7
