To Do
• Глагол to do спрягается во всех временах действительного и страдательного залогов согласно общим правилам спряжения глаголов • Глагол to do может употребляться: a) в качестве смыслового глагола со значением "делать": I shall do it tomorrow. - Я сделаю это завтра. б) в качестве вспомогательного глагола: для образования вопросительного и отрицательного предложения настоящего неопределенного и прошедшего неопределенного времени: Do you speak English? - Вы говорите по-английски? Не didn't work here yesterday. - Вчера он здесь не работал. в) для образования отрицательной формы повелительного наклонения: Do not (don't) open the window. - He открывай окно. г) для усиления значения действия: But I do know him. - Но я (действительно) знаю его. • I did do it. - Я (действительно) это сделал.
