Dramatic Arts in the UK originates from theatrical performances that were part of a religious ritual. Since the beginning of the Renaissance theater in England is becoming more secular in nature. Piccadilly Theatre (LONDON)
ABOUT THEATRE Piccadilly Theatre is located on the street Denmen Street, behind Piccadilly Circus, in the four-storey building , which was working on a project known architect Bertie Crewe. In the late 19 th - early 20 th century, this prolific architect had a hand in projects of more than 200 theater buildings throughout England. Piccadilly theater building is a classic example of him architecture : arched doorways , rows of pilasters on the perimeter of the building and decoration of the facade rounded rustication. Promotional brochure issued on the day of the opening of the Piccadilly Theatre , argued that if the building is dismantled into bricks and put them in one line, it would stretch the length to Paris itself.
Savoy Theatre
Savoy Theatre - theater and cinema on Church Street in Monmouth, south-east Wales. The building is given the status of the cultural heritage of Britain II; believed that it is the oldest working theater in Wales. In 1928 the building was renovated, 360 beds in it, and it currently runs a charitable foundation. Theatre is a cultural heritage of Monmouth Trail
