PEAK FOR THE WEEK COMMENCING 6 th May 2012 (WEEK 19) • PUTs declined across all trading demographics this week with the younger demo’s posting the highest losses YOY AP 18 -39 (-10%) & AP 18 -49 (-6%). • AP 5+ (-2%) and AP 25 -54 (-2%) recorded smaller declines. • Sunday, showed growth of 6%, while Monday and Wednesday showed growth of 4% YOY against AP 5+. TV ONE HIGHLIGHTS AP 25 -54 • • Following the 6 week trend of ratings increases, TV ONE experienced growth in audience again this week (to 8. 5 ratings) with share slightly down WOW. From a yearly perspective both audience & share losses were reported. Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights reported the highest weekly lifts of 16%, 13% and 10% respectively. Yearly, Tuesday night experienced a 3% lift. Year to date, TV ONE’s average audience is sitting at 7. 7, compared to 9. 3 in 2011. Two shows were in the top ten programmes this week. TV 2 HIGHLIGHTS AP 18 -39 • • Another good week for TV 2 with both audience and share increasing (to 9. 3 rating and 29. 3% share) – to be the highest rating of the year. Year on year, audience and share losses were recorded. Tuesday night reported the highest weekly lift of 22% with all peak shows improving ratings week on week. Yearly, Sunday and Tuesday night experienced 7% and 9% lifts. TV 2’s average audiences are sitting at 8. 1 compared to 9. 3 last year. All of the top ten programmes this week were on TV 2.
