History of the church The history started when God gave the vision to the American missionary Ron Holmes. In 2004, Ron and Maxim started organizing Christian youth clubs in one of the regions of Odessa.

Philosophy of ministry The mission of our church is two-fold: On the one hand, the Great Commission is the definition of the ministry of our church. On the other hand, we are involved into planting the socially focused church. Thus, our goal is to meet people’s both physical and spiritual needs.

Ministry of the church Gypsy ministry There around 600 000 gypsies in Ukraine. We have the evangelizations in the districts populated by the gypsies.

Ministry of the church Gypsy ministry There are two gypsy girls in our church. We also started a home Bible Study group. Some of the people repented and are preparing for the baptism.

Ministry of the church Social ministry among the handicapped people Our purpose is to help the people in need. To achieve that goal we organized the holidays and picnics for them, helped at the centre for the handicapped.

Ministry of the church Social ministry among the handicapped people In the summer of 2008, we had a campsite named The Touch of Christ. We wanted to make a present for those people. We invite young people and teenagers to become a part of this ministry.

Ministry of the church Divorce Care ministry In 2008, we started the first in Odessa and in Ukraine divorce care group. There are ten people coming to our meetings and two of them are unbelievers. The translators from our church translated the materials from English into Russian. Wayne Hudson (Vancleave, Mississippi) taught the facilitators and made the presentation of the program in Odessa churches.

Our plans for the year 2009 1. Organize a youth music band 2. Plant a gypsy church 3. Organize a camp for the handicapped 4. Organize a charitable fund and volunteer center 5. Expand the work among youth and teenagers • Invite them to participate in the missionary projects of the church • Motivate them to help with leading worship services • Help orphans • Organize missionary summer camps • Stimulate them to participate in the training seminars with the youth from other churches Please, pray for our plans.
