State education in Spain is entirely free, from nursery school through to university

TEACHERS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS Must: Have a University Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree in Education A course on teaching skills, psychology, education theory, practice (one year student teaching or practicum required postgraduate supervised teaching) Take a certification written and oral test: a basic skills test, a subject test and a programmed lesson
