Our Policy Function: Liaise and consult with the UK Border Agency an agency of Our Policy Function: Liaise and consult with the UK Border Agency an agency of the Home Office and all other relevant government departments. Respond to Government Consultation documents on Immigration matters. Highlight trends and raise awareness both within the RCN and externally of any emerging problems being faced by Overseas Nurses (e. g. abusive recruitment practice). Political lobbying on issues of concern to RCN members in liaison with the RCN Parliamentary Office (e. g. changes in the Immigration Rules affecting Overseas Nurses).
