The Premier Youth Hockey Association of Central Ohio Youth Hockey in Columbus State of Youth Hockey AAA - Key Points of the Partnership and Program – Brand new, first of its’ kind in Columbus – Joint venture with CAHA and EYHA to develop true Tier I talent in central Ohio to compete and succeed at this level – Tier I program will be run by an independent committee comprised of representatives from all three organization • There will be no path to the AAA teams through either the CCYHA or the Capitals Travel programs • CCYHA members on the committee are Rob Schriner, Mike Rose and Alex Gruszewski – CCYHA Travel and Capitals Travel programs to not register any Tier I/AAA teams – CCYHA and Capitals Travel programs will each continue to register A and AA travel teams – AAA/Tier I tryouts will be held prior to the CCYHA and Capitals A and AA tryouts for pee wee, bantam and midget – Team name TBD – Tier I requires a high degree of commitment and is not for everyone 19
