Solutions Floating farms must be proven to withstand forces under extreme conditions at their Solutions Floating farms must be proven to withstand forces under extreme conditions at their specific site. All farms in Norway must conform to a minimum standard. Norwegian standard 9415 (Nytek) – every farm must have a certificate at each site. Standard is developed by the authorities AND the fish farmers. Can neither cope with sabotage, collisions with ships nor with tsunamis.
