In the educational system of the Sakha Republic includes preschool education, elementary general education, basic education, secondary education, primary and secondary vocational education and higher education.

PRESCHOOL EDUCATION From 2 to 6 -7 years children go to kindergartens. In kindergarten children develop intellectually, artistically, aesthetically, physically.

ELEMENTARY GENERAL EDUCATION In age from 7 to 11 years, children learn in elementary school with grades one to four. In the primary grades, students learn the skills of reading, drawing, calculating. Children learn ethics and behavior

BASIC EDUCATION 5 to 9 classes children receive basic general education. At the end of grade 9 all ueniki pass the State final attestation. As a result of certification may wish to enroll in the Primary or Secondary Vocational Institution. Most students continue their schooling up to grade 11.

After finishing Grade 11, students take the Unified State Examination on three major subjects such as Russian, mathematics, social studies and electives. After passing the exam, students receive state-atestat the end of secondary education.

Higher educational institutions After the termination 11 classes children can arrive in higher educational institutions by results of Unified State Examination.
