A subject of research is a variety of the English names. A research object is a group of the most widespread English names. For the achievement of this aim we should decide next tasks: 1. To give short description of origin and meanings of the English names. 2. To analyze which male and female names are popular 4. To conduct the sociological survey among pupils «What English name do you know?» and to interpret a result.
