THE FUTURE FOOTBALL STAR Made by Turkova Elena, Aristarhov Maxim, 8 th Grade School 29, Kolomna
I’d like to tell you about my classmate Max Aristarhov. He is in Class 8. Max is fond of playing football. He has been playing football in our Town Football Club ‘Kolomna’ for 5 years.
Football Club ‘Kolomna’ is over 20 years old. It was created in 1997. At the end of 2011 the children’s football team ‘Vanguard’ was created under the aegis of the Football Federation of Kolomna. At first the young footballers started training in two groups of 18 players aged 11 to 12 years old. Nowadays ‘Vanguard’ is called the Young Footballers’ Training Centre of Football Club ‘Kolomna’. The centre has 90 players aged 11 to 16.
Max plays for the team where the players are 14 years old. They have 70 victories to their credit. Every spring the young footballers take part in Moscow Region Championship. Max’s team took part in different football tournaments. The tournament in Stupino was especially remembered by getting into the final, but, unfortunately, they lost on the penalty kick. Five days ago Max went to Adler for training. He expressed his hope that they would take the first prize.
Max’s attitude to sports is positive. He is sure that it is very important to go in for sports to be healthy. In the future Max wants to take the first prize in Moscow Region Championship, join a masters’ team and try to join the famous Russian football clubs.
