Subjects in Folkhighschool Typical subjects: music, arts, design, writing, journalism, pshycholigy, philosophy and literature Focus on enlightement, ethics, morality and democracy All the folkhighschool are residential schools Main categories of schools: christian or spiritual schools; general andt grundtvigian schools (traditional folkhighschool with many disciplines); gymnastics and sport schools (special focus on phisical education); lifestyle schools (diet, exersises and personal development), school of senior citizens (target an older audience), specialized schools (to focus on single discipline), youth folk high school (16 to 19 years) Singing together is deeply rooted in the culture at the folk high school (Grundtvig wrote 1585 psalms)

Project of Lakitelek -Founded in 1991 : after the system – change -4000 m 2, 4 km 2 - before: christian (katholic and protestant) folkhighschools (Kalot) in the countryside (from 1920) - 1948 : the shameful communists prohibit -From 1991 continuously build, 14 buildings: -Kitchen, tennis court, swimming-pool, training camp, open air theather, restaurant, chapel etc.
