The Far Eastern State Medical University I’m the first-year student Krusheva Kseniya, 103 ped Khabarovsk, 2013
I finished school in 2013.
I was eager to enter the Far Eastern State Medical University, because I’d like to be a doctor and treat children.
I handed in my certificate of education and health, Certificate of the Universal State Examination and the application for admission to this higher school. I took my Universal State Examinations in June, 2013.
I took four exams, in Russian, Maths, Chemistry and Biology. I got a ‘five’ in Russian and a ‘four’ in Chemistry and Biology.
I am very happy that I am a first-year student of the Far Eastern State Medical University at present.
The first year curriculum includes many subjects such as Anatomy, Biology, English, Latin and others.
In the first year we study Economy, History, Anatomy, Biology, English, Latin and other subjects. Anatomy and Nursing are the most important subjects in the first year.
I’m interested in English, Latin, Anatomy and Biology.
I pay great attention to these subjects because they are useful for my future career.
Our classes begin at half past eight in the morning and finish at twenty past four in the afternoon. 8: 30 4: 20
We have six periods of Anatomy, five periods of Biology and three periods of English weekly. Of course we attend classes regularly. We never miss lectures.
At the lectures we usually take notes of all the materials delivered by professors.
I take notes of the lectures very carefully to prepare for seminars and my future exams.
We have Biology this year and sometimes we carry on experiments in different laboratories and we’ll receive interesting findings.
After classes I stay at the university a bit longer and go to the laboratory to prepare for my classes in Anatomy. Sometimes I go home and do my homework.
I usually have dinner at home. I live with my parents.
I don’t know where I will spend my winter vacations, but I hope to go somewhere abroad with my friend.
There are 12 students in our group. Four students of our group live at the University hostel. Eight of us get stipends.
I try hard to cope with my studies well. We should work hard to pass our first year examinations successfully.
I will graduate from the University in six years. I will become a pediatrician and will treat little children.
