People celebrate this holiday on the 7th of July in many European countries : Russia, Poland, Latvia, Spain and others.

The festival is held to honour Ivan Baptist, who helped people and unburdened their souls.

Ceremonies. People swim in ponds, because they believe, that on this day evil spirits go away from the water.

Also they dance around the bonfire, jump over the fire and who jumps further that will be happier.

At last they collect the grass on this day and believe that this grass is magic.
