When do the buses go? • From 6 a. m. to midnight • In addition: Nattugla ”The Night Owl” Friday and Saturday nights. • Departures from town centre 1: 30, 2: 30 and 3: 30 a. m.
Bus Cards and Bus Fares • One Way Ticket – NOK 26, -. Valid for 1 hour (includes change of buses within that hour) • Note that the Night Owl has other bus fare prices: NOK 50, - per ticket • The Period Ticket Periodebillett (includes student discounts) • The Value Card Verdikonto
The Period Ticket • Personal card with your photo, and can only be used by the card holder. Cost 50, - first time you buy it. • Discount for young adults under 30 years of age • Valid for 14, 30 or 90 days within the City Zone • Costs: – Age above 30: – – 14 Days: Young adults: 200 – Age above 30: 340 30 Days: Young adults: 380 – Age above 30: 640 90 Days: Young adults: 980 – Age above 30: 1640 180 Days: Young adults: 1850 – Age above 30: 3090 • The card can then be updated on the buses. • Remember to always have valid identification when updating the card. Failure to produce valid identification can lead to the confiscation of the card.
The Value Account • The most suitable card if you have an irregular travel pattern • 25% discount compared to single fare tickets • Example: 1 ticket NOK 19, 50 (not 26)
Things to note • Cominor are coming to campus today to produce bus • • • cards – no need to pay periods now. Bus cards cost NOK 50, - but your information folder contains coupons for getting a card free of charge The personal ticket cards should be bought the first time at the Traffic Triangle (Trafikktriangelen) in the town centre or at Cominor close to campus. Bring ID Keep the receipt at home in case you loose the card Cards can be recharged Your bus habits decide which card is the cheapest solution
Bus Schedules • The Bus Schedules can be obtained for free on • • the buses In bus schedules: DX 67 means Daily except the 6 and 7 day of the week (Saturday and Sunday). 6 means Saturdays only and 7 means Sundays only. Schedules change during holidays/vacations
